The Brown University Baseball coaching staff is proud to offer a can’t miss opportunity for the student-athlete with aspirations of playing collegiate baseball at the Division I, and Ivy League level.

Camp sessions are designed to give each individual player an opportunity to work with the coaches in attendance in a number of different settings encouraging both competition and instruction. The main focuses of each session are position specific drills, fundamental skill sessions, pro-style workouts, and game play. The structure of the camp should give players a strong sense of how to improve at least some part of their individual skill set to aid in their development long after the conclusion of camp.

STAFF: In addition to the Brown University coaching staff, academic schools from all over the Northeast, as well as the country, have been in attendance in previous years. Some of the schools who have worked in past range from Division I to Division III and include but are not limited to: Holy Cross, Vassar, MIT, Tufts, Stevens Institute of Technology, Bates College, Bard University, University of Rochester, Occidental, and Chapman University, to name a few

WHO: The camp is open to any-and-all players in the classes of 2020, 2021, and 2022

WHEN: Session II = August 9 - 11, 2019

WHERE: The camp will operate almost exclusively at Brown University baseball’s on-campus field. Auxiliary fields and the OMAC indoor facility may be utilized for purpose of camp function or due to weather

Important Health Advisory

Due to recent outbreaks of measles, in consultation with Brown University’s Health Services and General Counsel’s Office, Pre-College Programs and Sports Camps are prohibiting any student or athlete from attending these programs if they have not completed the measles vaccinations.

This decision was made because of the structure of the summer programs: measles is a highly infectious disease that can incubate for two weeks before any symptoms appear. Given that many of our students and athletes are present on campus from anywhere from 1 day to 3 weeks, and then depart, the opportunities for this disease to be spread within and beyond our community is significant enough to warrant this kind of decision.

Brown University Sports Camps are open to any and all entrants that meet the listed eligibility requirements for each camp.
