Calling all Brown Pre-College students! Each year we share tons of information about our programs, specific courses, life on campus, the online program experience and our adventures at program locations across the globe. 

Now, we want to hear from you! 
Share your Brown Pre-College experience this summer! Enter one of our contests below for a chance to win exclusive Brown Pre-College swag and be featured in Brown Pre-College media.

Contests

Create an engaging short-form video (think Instagram Reels) that highlights your Brown Pre-College experience—this can be your top 5 new friends, food at the dining hall or trees, your favorite places on campus, highlights of your time with us, interviewing your friends, taste tests in the dining halls. Be creative, have fun and share your #SceneAtBrownPreCollege with us!

Example:

What is a day in your life like at Brown Pre-College? Create a video or captioned slideshow of what a day as a Brown Pre-College student looks like for you: where you have your meals, walking to and time in class, studying, going to campus activities, relaxing with friends, exploring campus or your neighborhood or program location and more! Be creative and highlight a typical day for you! This contest is open to online, on-location and on-campus students.

Tell us “Why Brown Pre-College?” Share a quote or brief written statement, Q&A or video about why you chose to spend your summer with Brown Pre-College and what you learned from the experience. Get creative! Try the “how it started–how it went” approach or write a reflection of your experience. However you choose to share, we want to hear your takeaways!

Contest Guidelines

Eligibility

All enrolled 2025 students (on campus, online, BEE and BELL) are invited to enter. Multiple winners will be selected to receive exclusive Brown Pre-College merch!! Winners will be announced in September and merch will be shipped to them in the fall.

Submissions

Share your entries with us at hello_precollege@brown.edu. Please also include a photo of yourself.

How Will Submissions Be Used?

Entries will be featured on Brown Pre-College social media channels and other marketing materials.

Submission Guidelines:

  • Film portrait/vertical orientation (think TikTok, Instagram reels)
  • Aim for 90 seconds or less.
  • Provide voice over or text captions of what you’re doing.
  • If any other students are in the video, you must submit their full names with the video.
  • Ensure all video content is in compliance with Brown Pre-College policies.
  • Use appropriate language.
  • Save any videos as a .mp4.
  • Note: Please share the original file. We are unable to use videos uploaded to YouTube/Instagram/Facebook/etc.
