As you navigate your course, please remember that we are always here to support you and your endeavors with Brown Pre-College Programs. This page is a compilation of resources made available to you during your program(s). We encourage you to utilize the resources listed here—they will enhance your summer experience. Additionally, don't hesitate to reach out to us and schedule some time to meet if you feel you need something that isn't listed here or if you would like to touch base about your experience. Information and Resources

On-campus students are encouraged to stop by the Partner Scholar and PPSD Student Table during check-in to learn more about resources and programming available to you during your time with us. 

On-campus students are invited and strongly encouraged to attend the Partner and PPSD Student Welcome Sessions that will take place on the Monday evening of the first day of class from 7 to 8 p.m. at 85 Waterman St., Room 130, unless otherwise noted.

Looking for support writing a paper for a course or editing your essays for your college application? Sign up for a free Writing Center consultation. The appointments will run from Monday through Thursday and are first-come, first-served.

During their one-hour appointment, writers will be paired with a Writing Associate to work on writing at any stage (from brainstorming to a full draft). Our associates are also happy to answer questions about college writing in general—you don't even need to come with a piece of writing! Writing Associates are friendly Brown graduate students who are trained to make suggestions that will help writers formulate, clarify, and elaborate on their ideas. During an appointment, Writing Associates will usually focus on organization, formulation of a strong thesis and writing to the correct audience or prompt.

Join the Pre-College Student Life team this summer for a variety of programs and social activities, both in person and online, aimed at introducing you to new friends, helping you prepare for college, answering your questions about what life on a college campus is like and developing skills that will help make navigating college life a breeze. All programs and events are free and open to any student enrolled in a 2025 Brown Pre-College Program.

All of our online programs are available to both in-person and online students. You are welcome to join in the online programs before, during or after your program. Once programs begin, you will be able to register for events by logging into your Student Portal, clicking Courses & Events and registering. 

Our in-person programs are open only to students studying on campus.
